And just after that, when the mic was right, he said that his 17-year long international cricket career will end here, ending his international T20 match. Mahmudullah Riyad said, “When I practiced for India, I thought that it is not the right time to retire from international T20 cricket and focus only on ODIs, and when I discussed this with the family, they said now is not the right time, but I think it is the right time.” And in this regard, the decision was taken by discussing with the Bangladesh Cricket Board Selector Board President and everyone under the boot. Mahmudullah Riyad’s decision to retire began when he was training for India from Mirpur and then thought he would retire from T20 Internationals. And regarding his departure, reporters asked if he wants to leave Bangladesh, Mahmudullah Riyad said that Bangladesh’s T20I series is too late and he does not want to be late, so this decision is going to be his last T20 match in Delhi on Saturday.
